- I am a surfacing artist working for Dreamworks. In the past I've worked for Disney, Warner Bros., and Sony Imageworks doing Texture Painting/Look Development, and Matte Painting. Since graduating from the Art Center College of Design with a major in Illustration, I've been blessed to work steadily in the Animation Industry. I also greatly enjoyed painting landscapes, still lifes, and figurative works. Here I'm pleased to share my latest work as well share insights I've gained over the years.

Thanks Joe.. I had fun with this one. I've also switched the lighting temperature from cool to warm just for a change.
I really love the paint handling in this one. Nice subtle color and skillful edge handling.

Thanks Frank! I've been paying more attention to edges lately. It was "cool" to paint with the warm light source too...
I know how artists like to stick there nose right up to the paintings... so the detail shot is for artists only!
Great stuff! Usually I would be concerned about good food going to waste but in this case it was worth it. I don’t know if I could sit idly by as ice cream melted right before my eyes, I think that would be just too much! I really like your Scotty Dogs too.
Ha! Thanks Leighton... I admit I slurped some of that melted ice cream when I was finished... even though it was after midnight!
I checked out your blog... sounds like you are close to graduating... Congrats! Art Center was a true test... Great work and style you've got!

Nice work Eric! I love the taquitos... makes me hungry though. I love painting in Old Town, one of my favorite spots.
