An 8"x10" sketch on location at Forest Lawn before work...

This 10"x8" sketch was painted over the weekend in Old Town San Diego. I spent about 3 hours on this.

Another recent painting. I painted this 6"x6" sketch with the palette knife only... experimentation was the idea.

After painting landscapes en plein air for several years I'm beginning to paint the figure again. This sketch is an 8" x 6" oil on canvas.
